Who am I?

Born and raised in the South Bronx, Ismael Guadalupe Jr. is an entrepreneur, operations leader, and compliance strategist who has built and scaled businesses from the ground up—learning firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and what can make or break a company.

A graduate of Fordham University, Ismael began his career in finance, where he developed a strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. However, his passion quickly shifted toward building businesses, not just analyzing them. That shift led him to launch and grow Professional Charter Solutions (PCS), a multi-service organization supporting charter schools and regulated institutions through complex operational and compliance environments.

As the founder and CEO of PCS, Ismael navigated every stage of entrepreneurship—from startup formation and early mistakes to scaling operations, managing compliance, leading teams, and maintaining audit readiness in highly regulated sectors. Along the way, he gained deep, real-world experience in operations infrastructure, labor and wage compliance, vendor management, and scalable systems, often learning lessons the hard way so others wouldn’t have to.

With over a decade of hands-on leadership experience, Ismael has developed a practical, execution-focused approach to business building. He is known for his ability to quickly assess operational gaps, simplify complex challenges, and implement systems that allow businesses to function efficiently and grow sustainably.

Today, through IGJ Management, Ismael helps founders and business owners do what he’s already done—launch businesses the right way, avoid common pitfalls, and build operations that can actually scale. His work goes beyond strategy; he partners with entrepreneurs from launch through ongoing support, providing guidance in operations, compliance, and decision-making as their businesses evolve.

Driven by community, accessibility, and entrepreneurship, Ismael is especially committed to supporting first-time founders, side-hustlers, and small business owners who want to build legitimate, compliant, and sustainable businesses—without unnecessary complexity or wasted resources.
